About the Role We're looking for an Accounting & Tax Counsel who can operate across corporate, business, and personal tax matters . This is a hybrid role — you'll handle the company's tax and accounting needs while also being able to advise on personal tax matters where relevant.
Requirements
- Experience spanning both corporate/business tax and personal tax — not just one or the other
- CPA, tax attorney, or equivalent credential/experience preferred
- Strong understanding of business entity structures and their tax implications
- Comfortable advising leadership on both company and personal tax questions
Nice To Haves
- Experience at a high-growth startup or consumer company.
- Experience with e-commerce, marketplaces, luxury goods, watches, collectibles, or consumer apps.
- Familiarity with multi-entity corporate structures, since IcyBox operates across multiple related entities.
- Experience advising founders or executives on personal tax matters alongside business/corporate tax.
Responsibilities
- Manage corporate/business tax filings, compliance, and planning
- Advise on personal tax matters as needed
- Work with bookkeeping and financial records to ensure accurate tax positions
- Liaise with external accountants/auditors where applicable
- Identify tax planning opportunities across both business and personal contexts
- Stay current on tax law changes affecting both business and individual filers
