About The Position

This role involves supporting various tax and accounting functions, including Sales & Use Tax, Property Tax, and regulatory filings. The assistant will also perform basic accounting entries, account reconciliations, and maintain documentation. The position requires attention to detail, a results-oriented approach, and strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• Studying or recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of accounting or tax experience.
• Knowledge of reconciliations and basic tax concepts.
• Excel Knowledge.
• Detail-oriented, results-oriented, autonomous, and self-organized.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP (Dynamics, SAP, and Avalara).
• Understanding of U.S. tax environment.
• Spanish speaking

Responsibilities

• Support Sales & Use Tax reconciliations, payments, and monthly filings.
• Assist with Property Tax data gathering, payments, and compliance.
• Help prepare and submit Census and other regulatory filings.
• Perform basic accounting entries and account reconciliations.
• Organize and maintain tax and accounting documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
