About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with an understanding of SABHRS to join our team of 6 Financial Systems Analysts. These roles act as translators between the business owners, the State Accountants, and our SABHRS programming team. You would be integral in ensuring SABHRS functions to meet the needs of Accountants across State Government. The Financials Systems Analyst is responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration, and testing for new, existing, or modified SABHRS (PeopleSoft) modules, focusing on meeting the business needs of our stakeholders. This includes testing components to determine system performance, trouble-shooting system issues, and providing solutions to the State’s business process issues. The role also involves conducting research about existing and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and efficiencies, as well as providing technical support and project management. Accounting and SABHRS experience are both crucial to this role, and we are ready and willing to train the technical aspects the successful candidate will need to learn. In this position you will be afforded the opportunity to telework, however there will be required weekly in office day(s) in Helena. Requirements

Knowledge of financial, budget and accounting business processes and practices.
Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures associated with the design, development, and support of computer financial applications.
Knowledge of MS Office software products and ability to learn new tools quickly.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field and two years applicable experience. OR An associate’s degree in accounting, or related field and four years applicable experience. Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
