About The Position

Supervises the accurate completion of the day-to-day functions of accounting activities and related processes. Ensures complete, accurate, timely and consistent financial and regulatory record-keeping and reporting. Ensures compliance with both organizational and governmental policies and procedures. Reviews general ledger accounts, balance sheet and income statement schedules, and the required adjusting journal entries for accuracy and completeness. Recommends enhancements to accounting activities to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures and to ensure efficient operations. Implements process and automation improvements to reduce reconciliation efforts and improve overall efficiency of processes. Directs the work of staff and performs related supervisory functions. Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 3+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • 2 years of previous managerial experience (for operations or production environment positions).
  • Comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance.
  • Effective Communications skills.
  • Financial Analysis skills.
  • Internal Controls knowledge.
