About The Position

The Accounting Supervisor will: Supervise the general accounting area of the organization under the direction of the Accounting Manager and/or Chief Financial Officer. Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including financial accounting and accounts payable. Ensure all analysis and reporting are accurate and prepared in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Lead and mentor accounting staff under the direction of the Accounting Manager and/or Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Associate degree and equivalent experience.
• Five (5) year’s related experience
• Supervisory experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong management and supervisory skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Efficient time management skills and prioritization skills.
• Mastery of accounting software and systems.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare accounting experience (preferred)
• Certified Public Accountant designation (preferred)
