Requirements

• 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field preferred
• Experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger accounts
• Experience preparing financial statements
• Experience with multiple companies or locations

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Process accounts receivable
• Assist with monthly financial statement preparation
• Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist with 1099 preparation and vendor information verification
• Prepare and organize financial reports and supporting documentation
• Assist with audits and tax-related requests
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed
