Mercedes-Benz of Richmond is seeking a detail-driven, organized, and dependable Accounting Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely processing of all vehicle sales, financial documents, and compliance requirements. Requirements

• Previous automotive dealership billing or accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of DMV processes, title work, and dealership documentation
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency with dealership management systems (Tekion, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
• Professional communication skills and a commitment to customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of title processing or dealership administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Process all new and pre-owned vehicle billing, including retail, lease, wholesale, and dealer trades
• Verify accuracy of sales documents, contracts, titles, and funding paperwork
• Submit and track DMV documentation and ensure compliance with state and manufacturer requirements
• Reconcile schedules related to vehicle inventory, contracts in transit, and accounting records
• Communicate with sales, finance, and management teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized digital and physical records for audits and reporting
• Support the accounting office with additional administrative tasks as needed
