About The Position
Splash Carwash in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a motivated Accounting Specialist to support our accounting department with daily operations on a part-time, hybrid basis. This is a great opportunity for a current accounting student to gain hands-on experience with real-world accounting processes in a growing business.
Requirements
- Must have or be currently obtaining a degree in accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being well organized and attentive to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
- Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.
Responsibilities
- Coding bank feed deposit transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Processes invoices for approval and payment
- Assists with month-close, quarter-close, and annual close processes which includes bank reconciliations, journal entries, etc.
- Helps assist fleet manager with accounts receivable
- Deposits checks and self serve funds to bank
- Assists with other journal entries as needed
- Other duties as assigned
