About The Position

The H+H Group is growing and has an immediate opening for an Accounting Specialist on their Central Support Accounting Team. This role will utilize the latest technology to automate tedious tasks, allowing for more time to solve complex problems. The specialist will help maintain a business record of financial transactions, prepare accounting reports, ensure transactions are recorded according to guidelines, follow internal accounting procedures for financial security, and review, research, reconcile, and assure the accuracy of schedules, ledgers, and accounts.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or higher in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
• Strong work ethic with an emphasis on integrity, time management, accountability, efficiency, teamwork, and thoroughness.
• The ability to analyze and perform complex calculations.
• Strong Customer Experience and people skills.
• Be knowledgeable of basic accounting and reconciling processes.
• Be detailed oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
• The ability to effectively communicate with internal and external Customers, in person, over the phone, and via fax or email.
• The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• The ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a business record of financial transactions carried out by the company.
• Prepare relevant accounting reports of financial activities of the company as assigned.
• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded as per established guidelines.
• Follow all procedures relating to internal accounting in order to maintain the company’s financial security.
• Review, research, reconcile, and assure the accuracy of schedules, ledgers, and accounts.
