Accounting Software Consultant
About The Position
Trimble is hiring an Accounting Software Consultant to guide construction clients through end-to-end implementations of the Trimble ConstructionOne product suite. The consultant acts as a strategic liaison between Trimble and its customers, shaping digital transformation, optimizing business workflows, and supporting customer success and product adoption. The role involves analyzing customer goals, designing tailored software strategies, reviewing business processes, configuring and integrating applications, and supporting testing, data imports, and custom reporting. It also includes delivering application training and readiness assessments, managing implementation risks, and meeting billable targets. The position is remote within the United States and requires 25% travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, training, or technology.
- At least 3 years of software implementation or consulting experience.
- Expertise in accounting or construction domains.
- Proven experience in high-level customer support, strategic client management, and complex implementation workflows.
- Proficiency in process planning, requirements gathering, time management, and interactive presentations.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment, collaborate, and meet established deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with Spectrum ERP, Viewpoint, or Trimble ConstructionOne products.
- Subject matter expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Experience mapping accounting data and building reports.
- Experience managing multiple complex implementations concurrently and serving strategic clients with 100 or more employees.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to analyze business goals and design tailored software strategies using the Trimble ConstructionOne product suite.
- Guide client organizations through end-to-end implementations, including business process reviews, setup, testing, data import, and custom reporting.
- Deliver application training and readiness assessments to support software adoption and customer success.
- Manage project risks and mitigate potential implementation hurdles.
- Maintain consistent billable target achievements.
