Accounting Services Specialist
About The Position
The Department of Public Health seeks a well-qualified Accounting Services Specialist to join their team at the John C. Murphy Health Clinic. This role will support the Fiscal Services team and perform a variety of complex accounting support functions including analysis of data, fiscal projections and preparation of summary reports within general accounting. This position is essential to supporting the implementation, functionality, and ongoing optimization of the Department of Public Health. This team member will also be responsible for intake of invoices and maintaining the log that is used by all of AP to track incoming bills which is an essential role. The typical starting salary is between $17.64 - $21.17 hourly, depending upon the candidate's qualifications as well as budgetary considerations.
Requirements
- Equivalent to three years of professional work experience in an accounting related environment
Responsibilities
- Enter assigned invoices into Munis / Work-Day
- Investigate any problematic invoices and Division request
- Email & calls correspondence with internal and external stakeholders
- Enter data on excel spreadsheets
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Intake of invoices and maintaining the log that is used by all of AP to track incoming bills.
