As an Accounting Services Associate, you will support a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients by delivering accurate and timely bookkeeping, payroll, and client accounting services. This fully onsite role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on accounting work and thrive in a client-facing environment. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance, and building strong client relationships while contributing to the overall success of the accounting services team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of bookkeeping or client accounting services experience
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
  • Experience with reconciliations, payroll processing, and financial reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients
  • Effective communication and client service skills
  • U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including transaction entry and general ledger maintenance in QuickBooks Online
  • Process payroll and ensure accuracy and timeliness for client accounts
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for client reporting
  • Support year-end close and coordinate with tax teams
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding financial activity and questions
  • Assist with process improvements and system efficiencies
