We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounting Services Assistant to join our Finance Department. This role provides essential accounting and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of association financial services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to work independently while supporting homeowners, title companies, and accounting staff. Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive and professional working relationships with Client Accountants, Accounting Managers, homeowners, title companies, and internal staff.
  • Process property ownership transfers and maintain accurate ownership records.
  • Review and understand closing documents and estoppel information to facilitate ownership transfers.
  • Communicate with title companies and closing coordinators regarding missing or incomplete estoppel information.
  • Prepare and process association deposit slips as needed.
  • Maintain accounting files and records in accordance with company procedures.
  • Scan and upload documents to SharePoint and other electronic filing systems.
  • Assist homeowners with account payments and online portal access.
  • Scan and distribute year-end financial reports and tax returns according to established procedures.
  • Fulfill requests for year-end financial statements via email or mail.
  • Provide administrative support to Accounting Managers and Accountants, including assisting with phone inquiries.
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
