About The Position

We’re looking to add a highly qualified Accounts Receivable Clerk to support the daily operations of our distribution center. Shift Hours: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm- Monday to Friday

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with team-members and customers
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records
• Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies
• Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed
• Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash
• Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices
• Answers multi-lined telephone regarding availability, pricing and order inquires
• Inbound/Outbound calling
