About The Position

CNO Financial Group, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Operations Intern to collaborate with Accounting Operations associates on professional day-to-day tasks within the department. This paid internship offers competitive rates and provides exposure to key accounting processes, special projects, and month-end/quarterly close activities. The internship program runs from May 17 to August 06, 2027, and includes networking opportunities, leader talks, career counseling, development activities, and an in-person event. Interns are eligible for various benefits and activities designed to enhance their learning and professional development.

Requirements

Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline.
Status as a rising junior or rising senior, approx. graduation dates of December 2027-June 2029.
Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
Experience with one or more of the following: Co-Pilot, Co-Pilot Studio, Power BI, Alteryx, Power Automate, VBA, Denodo, and Microsoft 365 Ecosystem.
Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
All work must be performed within the United States.

Responsibilities

Developing and facilitating documentation of key processes supporting quarterly reporting and analysis.
Assisting with daily accounting operation tasks.
