About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency within our accounting department. This is a leadership role requiring strong expertise in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage and develop a team while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will also lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements, including automation opportunities, to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 5 years minimum progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Nice To Haves

• CPA certification is highly desirable.
• Audit experience at Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Conduct and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial accounts.
• Lead and manage the accounting team, including mentoring, performance reviews, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes, introducing automation and efficiency enhancements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems, reporting tools, and processes.
• Assist with external audit requirements and ensure timely completion of all audit activities.
• Ensure adherence to SOX internal controls and relevant accounting regulations.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and reporting to leadership on trends, variances, and opportunities.
