About The Position

Jusczak Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to oversee all financial operations for Jusczak Companies suite of businesses; Jusczak Trucking, Jusczak Repair, Jusczak Logistics, Jusczak Leasing, Jusczak Properties. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
5–7+ years of accounting experience (management or supervisory experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

NetSuite software experience
Experience in transportation, logistics, or related industry is a plus

Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts
Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Assist with process improvements and implementation of accounting systems
