About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and manage the monthly close process across multiple entities and locations. This role involves supervising and mentoring senior accounting staff, reviewing financial deliverables, and supporting acquisition integrations and process standardization. The ideal candidate will assist in building scalable accounting infrastructure, partner with leadership on reporting and operational improvements, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. This position also involves supporting audit preparation and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–15 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong operational accounting and month-end close experience
• Multi-entity and/or multi-site accounting experience required
• Strong process improvement and leadership abilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Bring a strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Be comfortable in a fast-moving, evolving environment
• Have experience supporting growing organizations
• Demonstrate leadership potential and operational maturity
• Be proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Public accounting background is preferred but not mandatory
• CPA is preferred but not required
• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite preferred

Responsibilities

• Help lead and manage the monthly close process across multiple entities and locations

• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting deliverables
• Support acquisition integrations and process standardization initiatives
• Assist in building scalable accounting infrastructure and internal controls
• Partner with leadership on reporting, automation, and operational improvements
• Support location-level financial reporting and allocation methodologies
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance initiatives
