Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a CPA or MBA is highly preferred and will fast-track advancement.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a proven track record of supervising or managing a team.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, robust experience with enterprise ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Prepare high-level financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and deliver variance analyses to leadership.
  • Oversee all daily accounting functions, including AP (vendor relations, 1099s), AR (billing, cash application, collections), and Fixed Assets (depreciation, capitalization, and construction-in-progress).
  • Monitor daily cash activity, oversee bank reconciliations, and support precise cash-flow forecasting and working capital management.
  • Enhance accounting policies, maintain tight internal controls, and serve as the primary point of contact for external audits and tax filings.
  • Supervise, mentor, and elevate the accounting staff, establishing clear priorities and a culture of continuous improvement.
