About The Position

Edible Brands® was launched in 2022 to bring together powerful, purpose-led brands under one unified purpose: to enrich everyday life through celebration, nourishment, and wellness. Today, Edible Brands powers three bold and growing concepts across 700+ locations worldwide. Our portfolio spans Edible Arrangements®, the iconic gifting brand; Rōti®, a Mediterranean-inspired fast-casual restaurant; edibles.com™, a trusted marketplace for low-dosage THC & CBD wellness products; and BerryDirect®, our robust supply chain infrastructure. Together, these brands are fueled by The Edible Way—a set of employee-driven values that keep us committed, collaborative, adaptable, results-driven, and always ready to celebrate. We are seeking a high-energy, technically sharp Accounting Manager who is a true "builder and do-er." This is not a hands-off, purely supervisory role; you will be deeply involved in the daily execution of accounting functions while simultaneously helping us implement and optimize NetSuite. Your core focus will be mastering the general ledger, driving the NetSuite migration, establishing robust inventory and revenue controls across multiple brands, and building scalable processes from the ground up.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a retail, restaurant, hospitality, franchise, or other multi-unit consumer business.
  • Experience working within ERP systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting an ERP implementation, system conversion, or data migration is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and data management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • CPA or CMA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the accounting lead for our NetSuite ERP implementation. Clean up legacy data, map the new chart of accounts, and build out custom reports to support a multi-brand retail/QSR environment.
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Personally prepare and review complex journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Evaluate legacy, fragmented accounting workflows across our brands and design streamlined, scalable processes fit for a transforming business.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition from POS systems, manage inventory accounting (including waste and cost of goods sold across locations), and implement strict internal controls.
  • Build clean, auditable schedules and act as the main point of contact for external auditors during year-end reviews.
  • Lead, mentor, and work side-by-side with a lean accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
