The Accounting Manager will be responsible for developing and mentoring FSA Tribal Members within their department, portraying a positive attitude, and representing the core values of Apache Casino Hotel by providing exceptional service. This role provides leadership direction, oversees functions related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, revenue audit, and general ledger. The manager will recommend economic strategies, participate in financial reviews, assist with managing property cash flows, and provide training on the payroll system. A key aspect of this role is ensuring all financial activities comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls of the Tribe, NIGC MICS, State Compact, Tribal Gaming Commission, and other regulatory authorities. The position also involves coordinating audits, preparing regulatory reports, implementing month-end closing processes, determining work procedures, maintaining team member records, assigning duties, studying procedures for efficiency, maintaining harmony among team members, and promoting a FUN, efficient, team-oriented environment. Regular attendance and compliance with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program are required.
