Position and Key Responsibilities: Assist the Regional Director of Finance with monthly and yearâend closing, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations (e.g., cash, AR/AP, payroll). Work on financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) on a hotel and corporate level. Implement and maintain internal control systems and SOXâstyle compliance. Ensure accuracy of accounts receivable/payable, vendor payments, and payroll coordination. Process daily cash reports, Income Journal and bank reconciliations. Collaborate with auditors, provide documentation, handle inquiries. Improve finance systems and processes; frequently work with systems like Opera, Micros, Profit Sword, Ottimate, Acumatica. Assist with RDOF work requests Provide excellent customer service consistent with the daily service of the company. Works collaboratively with all departments to promote initiatives. Skills/Knowledge Required: Highly motivated individuals who can work independently. Ability to handle confidential information discretely and in the proper manner. Self-starter and possess excellent presentation skills. Proven track record of successful sales history Qualification Standards: Education : Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred. Experience : 2-5+ years in hospitality or similar industry, preferably at property or corporate level. Technical skills : Accounting systems: hotel PMS/ERP and tools like Excel, NetSuite and OPERA and Micros. Strong Excel skills for analyzing large datasets. Leadership : Strong communicator capable of managing teams and liaising with operations. Soft skills : Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, deadline-driven, adaptable to fast-paced environments, self-starter. Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry, this position may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Hotel, including but not limited to weekends and holidays.
