About The Position

This is an opportunity to lead and scale the accounting infrastructure of a rapidly growing real estate investment platform — not just manage day-to-day accounting processes. You’ll work directly with senior leadership across accounting, finance, and operations initiatives supporting a growing national real estate portfolio. You’ll oversee property accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close processes, and team development across multiple entities and investment structures. You’ll lead and mentor Senior Property Accountants and the Accounts Payable Coordinator while helping improve operational systems, controls, and accounting workflows. Clear Investment Group (“CIG”) is a Chicago-based, real estate investment firm specializing in opportunistic, value-add multifamily investments. CIG focuses on revitalizing communities while delivering strong risk-adjusted returns to investors through disciplined execution and operational expertise. CIG’s leadership team has a combined 100+ years of real estate and investment experience, with a historical net IRR exceeding 37% across all realized investments since 2011. Clear Investment Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the firm’s accounting operations across multiple entities, properties, and projects. This role will manage and mentor Senior Property Accountants and the Accounts Payable Coordinator while supporting financial reporting, month-end close processes, budgeting initiatives, and operational controls.
