We have empowered over 55,000 families to achieve their dream of homeownership and have played a pivotal role in funding the development of over 16,000 multifamily housing units. We’re hiring a full-time Accounting Manager for our Finance & Accounting Division.
Requirements
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience, including financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) principles and accounting best practices.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing teams through coaching, performance management, and employee development.
- Experience leveraging financial and accounting systems to support efficient and accurate operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and at least three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting operations behind our loan, investment, and real estate portfolios, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong regulatory compliance.
- Oversee banking and cash management activities, maintaining the integrity and security of financial transactions.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and support organizational growth.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver reliable financial information and support key business decisions.
- Develop, coach, and inspire a talented accounting team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on continuous improvement.
