The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring a system of internal control and check is in place for processing invoices and cash receipts. This role involves working with managers and collections agencies on specific accounts, managing credit terms and amounts, and setting stop limits policies. The manager will also oversee bad debt provisions and write-offs, produce reports on past due amounts, and manage cash postings, short payments, and unallocated cash for accurate reporting. Additionally, the position involves supervising the daily functions of AP staff, including training, disciplinary action, and promotions, as well as interacting with vendors for timely invoice payments and implementing AP process improvements. A key part of the role includes reviewing and analyzing AP aging and other AP reports. Other duties as assigned.
