About The Position

Zenity is hiring a US Accounting Manager to own revenue accounting and the AR/AP function as they scale enterprise customer volume. This role sits at the center of finance, GTM, and HR, supporting deal structuring, customer onboarding from a billing standpoint, and process build-out as the company grows. The role reports into the Finance team and works daily with the Controller, Director/VP Finance, and HR. This is a hybrid role in their NYC office. Zenity is the leader in AI Agent Security and the first company to bring an agent-centric security platform to market. As enterprises accelerate AI agent adoption, Zenity is establishing the security framework for how AI agents are secured and governed at enterprise scale. They deliver full-lifecycle visibility, governance, detection, prevention, and response for AI agents from build time to runtime, across SaaS, home-grown platforms, and end-user devices. Backed by $55M+ in funding, including a $38M Series B with strategic investment from Microsoft’s M12, Zenity is trusted by Fortune 500 enterprises globally. This is a chance to build process from the ground up, work directly with the Controller and VP Finance, and have real input into how a fast-growing security company runs its books.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and active CPA license
  • Startup experience, comfortable operating in a high-volume, intense, fast-changing environment
  • Hands-on AR and AP ownership, ideally supporting enterprise customer enablement
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
  • Ability to incorporate AI tools into accounting workflows
  • 4+ years corporate accounting in tech/SaaS, or Big 4 auditing tech clients
  • Cybersecurity or high-growth SaaS experience
  • High proficiency with tech stacks (e.g., HubSpot, ERP systems, Excel)
  • Netsuite, Mesh, HiBob experience
  • Exposure to deal-desk, revenue operations, or pricing in B2B enterprise software
  • Exposure to multi-entity or international consolidations
  • Proven ability to build, not just maintain, systems, processes, or relationships
  • Comfort operating in evolving, fast-moving environments where the playbook is still being written
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes, not just activity
  • Experience in high-growth or venture-backed environments
  • Exposure to AI, security, or emerging technology ecosystems

Responsibilities

  • Own the US subsidiary's month-end close and core revenue accounting under US GAAP and ASC 606
  • Manage AR and AP, including enabling billing and collections processes for new enterprise customers
  • Support external audits, tax filings, and ad hoc financial reporting for leadership and investors
  • Partner with the Go-To-Market team to review and structure complex customer deals, ensuring proper revenue treatment and clean contract terms
  • Support pricing strategy and deal-desk processes with financial modeling, margin analysis, and guidance that informs commercial decisions
  • Work with HR on onboarding, benefits, and PEO systems
  • Translate complex accounting requirements into clear, actionable guidance for non-finance stakeholders
  • Build finance processes that support go to market as the company scales
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and audit readiness
  • Explore opportunities to apply AI tools across accounting and finance operations
