Our team is looking for a motivated Accounting Manager with crypto industry experience to support our rapidly growing business. In this role, you will lead and execute core accounting processes, record financial transactions, prepare and review payments, support tax compliance, and prepare financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards. The ideal candidate will help streamline and improve the month-end close process while partnering with cross-functional teams to develop scalable financial reporting solutions for both existing and new initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA license preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in Accounting, Audit, and/or Tax
  • Prior experience working in crypto industry highly preferred
  • Experience with crypto accounting, including digital asset transactions, wallet reconciliations, and token-related activity
  • Experience with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage tight deadlines and responsibilities effectively; ability to multitask and succeed in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to work within a collaborative, driven, and professional environment

  • International accounting and/or consolidation and/or tax experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, regulatory reporting, and state filing deadlines.
  • Create and implement enhanced financial reporting processes to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement accounting software solutions that meet Injective's needs.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of core accounting functions, including accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and investments.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, crypto wallets, and corporate card accounts.
  • Assist with the review of U.S. and international payroll processing.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
  • Support year-end audit activities and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
  • Prepare and manage annual corporate tax filings.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Partner with external tax advisors, auditors, and service providers.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
