Requirements
- 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Nice To Haves
- CPA
- Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
- Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
- Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
- Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions
Responsibilities
- Monthly Chart of Account review and approvals managing Amazon's Corporate Allocations impacting external reporting (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and internal management reporting.
- Assist with quarterly SEC deliverable preparation and review.
- Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities.
- Drive impactful global projects.
- Financial reporting research and position paper writing.
