About The Position

The Accounting Management Trainee Program is a 24-week, hands-on job experience geared toward recently graduated or soon-to-be graduating seniors. Trainees join a team, expand their experience, participate in all areas of Dayton Freight's operations, and learn about the company, its culture, and the transportation industry. The program also develops future-oriented leadership skills to prepare trainees to take on a management position upon completion.

Trainees who complete the program are hired with the intent of becoming leaders in the Corporate Accounting Department in Dayton, Ohio, following the 24 weeks of operational training. The accounting leadership role is in person in Dayton, Ohio.

Requirements

• Possess a valid bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
• Be willing to relocate to any Service Center.
• Be willing to work a rotation of first, second, and third shifts during training.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Be fluent in English.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Leadership, Management, or an accounting-related field is preferred.
