About The Position

Pepper Construction is seeking qualified, intelligent students with a passion for learning about accounting in the construction industry for an Accounting Internship. This internship provides comprehensive exposure to the financial group, with a focus on project-specific accounting duties within a national general contractor. Interns will collaborate with the Accounting team on reviewing owner contracts, identifying billing terms, coordinating the billing process, and managing A/P, A/R, and cash processing. The role also includes involvement in training, jobsite tours, and safety.

Requirements

• Current college student entering their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year studying Accounting or similar discipline with relevant coursework during the 2026/27 school year
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technology
• Ability to work independently while still contributing and collaborating in a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Reliable transportation to and from work-related activities and assignments
