This role will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, helping ensure financial data is accurate, organized, and up to date. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Eager to learn and take on new challenges
  • Reliable and able to follow through on assigned tasks
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and asking questions when needed
  • Strong communicator with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Able to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a structured environment
  • Currently pursuing a BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (open to all years of study)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Availability to work a consistent schedule (full-time during internship period)
  • Willing to work on-site, 5 days a week in our Dallas office

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Excel skills (e.g., data entry, formatting, simple formulas)
  • Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a plus
  • Prior experience working with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Prior internship, coursework, or project experience related to accounting or finance
  • Exposure to Excel or accounting systems

Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice entry, payment tracking, and documentation support
  • Help maintain accurate financial records by organizing files and performing data entry in NetSuite or other systems
  • Support bank and balance sheet reconciliations by gathering data and preparing templates for review
  • Assist with billing processes by compiling inputs and validating basic data
  • Perform routine data checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information
  • Support month-end close activities through assigned administrative and preparatory tasks
  • Help organize documentation for audits and internal reviews
  • Collaborate with team members across Accounting, Finance, and Operations as needed
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives
