About The Position

Ulteig is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting both Revenue and General Accounting functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to real-world financial processes including revenue recognition, monthly close activities, and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting while contributing to meaningful business operations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (minimum of 2 years completed)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and completion of introductory accounting coursework
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
  • Willingness and ability to work full-time during Summer 2026
  • Option to continue part-time during the academic year may be considered
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Revenue Accounting team with project revenue recognition and maintenance of monthly schedules
  • Support General Accounting with weekly, monthly, and periodic tasks such as bank reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, and sales tax filings
  • Help prepare and organize financial records and documentation for reporting and audit support
  • Perform data entry, research, and filing while maintaining accurate and complete financial records
  • Work within Microsoft Dynamics (ERP system) to support accounting processes and reporting
  • Shadow accounting professionals to gain insight into daily responsibilities and best practices
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support business needs
  • Take on additional projects and tasks to broaden your understanding of accounting operations
