The role is for a motivated Accounting Intern to join the Accounting team in El Segundo. This position offers hands-on experience in corporate accounting principles and financial processes, while developing technical and analytical skills in a fast-paced data center environment. The intern will work directly with the accounting team, gaining valuable experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounts payable analysis.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with financial data and perform reconciliations
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of NetSuite or similar financial systems

Responsibilities

  • Assist in compiling and preparing monthly financial statements
  • Support the accounts payable team with creating purchase orders and inputting invoices
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice inquiries and discrepancies
  • Review aging reports and assist with follow-up actions
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Participate in special finance projects as assigned
  • Present financial findings and project results at the end of the internship
