About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our accounting and finance team. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Completion of some college-level coursework in accounting or finance
- Actively pursuing a degree with a major in Accounting
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Nice To Haves
- Completion of Intermediate Accounting I
- Prior internship or relevant work experience
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly account reconciliations and journal entry preparation
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Help maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
- Support audit preparation and compliance documentation as needed
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
