About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in general accounting and data analysis. Interns will assist with preparing financial and operational reports, support Accounts Payable activities, track KPIs, complete Fixed Asset capitalization, perform account reconciliations, and participate in process-improvement and digitalization projects. The role involves measuring and reporting efficiencies from continuous-improvement initiatives and evaluating current digital workflows to develop optimization recommendations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate business-related degree.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general accounting and data analysis tasks.
  • Prepare and deliver financial and operational reports.
  • Support Accounts Payable activities and monitor related processes.
  • Track, analyze, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Complete Fixed Asset capitalization activities and prepare audit materials.
  • Perform account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Participate in process-improvement and digitalization projects.
  • Measure and report efficiencies from continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate current digital workflows and develop recommendations for optimization.
