About The Position

This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting. The intern will assist with various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. The role involves collaborating with different finance teams and contributing to process improvements. Requirements

• Basic understanding of account reconciliation and financial concepts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a team environment
• Interest in improving processes and building efficiency
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables)

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship or coursework in accounting is a plus, but not required
• Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing journal entries with proper supporting documentation.
• Support monthly balance sheet reconciliations and help investigate variances.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely completion.
• Help review general ledger activity and identify basic trends or discrepancies.
• Follow company policies and assist with compliance with accounting standards (U.S. GAAP).
• Provide support during internal and external audits by organizing and preparing documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help maintain standardized procedures.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Finance teams on routine tasks.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
