About The Position

Our Accounting team is looking for an intern to join us for the summer of 2027. As an Accounting Intern, you'll work alongside a team of experienced professionals, supporting day-to-day accounting activities, assisting with financial reporting, and contributing to the timely and accurate reporting of the company's financial results. This internship offers valuable real-world experience, professional mentorship, and the opportunity to develop skills that will help set the foundation for a successful career in accounting.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Performs daily and monthly duties such as: Assists in month-end process
Accounts Payable/Receivable
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Invoicing
Assist with audits and compliance tasks.
Perform other ad-hoc duties and special projects as assigned.
Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of Vistal.
Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
