About The Position

Comcast Spectacor, a leading sports and entertainment organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our Finance & Accounting team. This internship offers hands-on experience in core accounting functions and exposure to financial operations within our professional sports and entertainment properties, including the Philadelphia Flyers and Xfinity Mobile Arena.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
Support the preparation of financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports.
Help maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
Prepare bank reconciliations, researching any discrepancies.
Assist with budget tracking and variance analysis.
Conduct basic financial research and compile reports for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance team.
