About The Position
Air Systems Maintenance, Inc. (ASM) is a leading commercial HVAC maintenance, service, and contracting company based in Kenilworth, NJ. Founded in 1964, we have decades of experience servicing commercial and industrial facilities throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Our experienced technicians work on everything from rooftop units to large-scale chillers, with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and customer service. This internship is intended for students seeking or eligible to receive academic credit through their college or university. The student will be responsible for coordinating with their school regarding internship requirements. ASM will support required documentation, learning objectives, evaluations, and other academic requirements as appropriate.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Eligible to receive college/university academic credit.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information professionally.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with the Accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assist with maintaining accounting documentation and records.
- Support the Accounting team with special projects and process improvements.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
