Accounting Intern - Summer 2026
About The Position
We’re looking for a Summer Accounting Intern to join our team and support day-to-day accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their academic career who wants to gain hands-on experience and learn how an accounting team operates in a real business setting. You’ll work closely with our team on a variety of projects—from reconciliations to cleaning up financial data—and gain exposure to tools like NetSuite. You'll get real-world accounting experience in a supportive environment, exposure to tools and systems used by professionals, and plenty of opportunities to learn and ask questions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic Excel skills (comfortable working with spreadsheets)
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work with a team
Nice To Haves
- Any exposure to accounting coursework or financial concepts
- Experience with Excel and/or data analysis
- Familiarity with NetSuite or other accounting software
Responsibilities
- Help with basic tasks in NetSuite, including entering and reviewing transactions
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Support the cleanup and organization of accounting records and job data
- Use Excel to track and review financial information
- Assist with general accounting tasks and special projects, as needed
- Help maintain accurate, well-organized financial data
