About The Position

We are looking for part-time Tax & Assurance interns to join the Abilene, TX office. The specific focus (Assurance or Tax) will be determined during the hiring process based on your interests. Assurance interns will participate in client engagement meetings, travel to client sites (10-40% travel required), and prepare accounting-related reports for clients across various industries. Tax interns will be responsible for completing individual and business tax returns of varying complexity, analyzing tax situations to ensure maximum benefit, and working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with the goal of sitting for the CPA license. Requirements

Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
On track to sit for your CPA license.
Authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
Inquisitive and enjoy learning about various client business processes.
Ability to travel to different locations to help clients (10-40% travel may be required).
Like the challenge of working on audit engagements and helping clients succeed.
Multi-tasking skills and ability to meet deadlines.
