The Itasca Park District is seeking an innovative, organized, flexible, dynamic individual who can multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working with a dedicated team focused on parks and recreation. The Accounting & Human Resource Supervisor will assist and supervise financial, insurance, and personnel functions for the Itasca Park District, reporting directly to the Superintendent of Finance, Personnel & IT. Key responsibilities include HR functions, payroll processing, accounts payable, safety and policy support, front desk operations, and serving as the Recording Secretary of the Board of Commissioners, with additional assistance as needed. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, with work hours typically Monday through Friday, including some designated evening and weekend hours. Itasca Park District is a large, award-winning agency serving a community of 9,500 residents, with a $6M annual budget, 15 Full-Time and over 200 Part-Time Employees. The District is committed to innovation and community engagement, evidenced by numerous redevelopment projects and partnerships.
