About The Position

Excellent opportunity to join Qualcomm’s Hardware, Software, Subscription and Services Revenue Team to support Hardware incentives/rebates and to build business acumen on Qualcomm's products, key customers and pricing processes. This role provides the opportunity to partner directly with the Hardware pricing teams to review contracts and deal proposals, as well as lead quarterly financial reviews with finance leadership teams. Applicant will ensure accurate accounting guidance is applied for Hardware incentives specifically for Tier 1 customers. This role will also lead quarter end close activities for the Hardware revenue team, including preparing, reviewing and analyzing journal entries while ensuring correct accounting treatment related to the business’s revenue incentives. Where needed, this role will support incentives claim processing, billings, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, SOX controls, ASC606 and cash applications, and will knowledge share with the accounting team in Hyderabad, India.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance Business Administration, or related degree
  • 4+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience
  • 2+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = 1 year, Doctorate = 2 years) of work experience
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the Hardware pricing teams to review contracts and deal proposals.
  • Lead quarterly financial reviews with finance leadership teams.
