About The Position

Huhtamaki is a key global provider of sustainable packaging solutions, aiming to make all packaging recyclable, reusable, or compostable. This Accounting and Finance Career Program internship is project-focused, designed for top college graduates to gain hands-on experience in the industry, key business and financial processes, internal controls, and business analytics. Interns will work closely with their manager on specific initiatives, perform operational finance and control activities, and collect, interpret, and report on financial and control information.

Requirements

• Working towards a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance
• Strong aptitude in analytics, problem solving, interpersonal skills, motivation to succeed
• Competence with Microsoft Office Applications
• Quick-witted with data management software

Responsibilities

• Interact with and learn from leaders throughout our company
• Engage in specialized training and development opportunities to learn about the industry
• Learn about the finance role in various functional areas, including Treasury, Tax, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Business Units, Internal Audit and Corporate Accounting
• Obtain valuable leadership experiences to use throughout your career
• Perform operational finance and control activities in accordance with principles and standards
• Collect, interpret, and report information on financial and control activities
