Requirements

Associates Degree or including accounting class or two years of related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Receive and process accounts payable invoices
Match invoices with proper purchase orders; ensure completeness and accuracy of invoices and shipments
Email & post customer invoices daily
Apply customer payments to open invoices daily
Process customer miscellaneous credits
Respond to customers regarding invoice & payment inquiries
Perform credit checks on new customers
Collect & maintain tax exempt certificate
Collections – contacts customer to make collection efforts on past due accounts
Email statements
Prepare all necessary correspondence using the computer and installed software
Collaborate with independent auditors
File sales & use tax return by state
Maintain confidentiality of information in the accounts payable/receivable office
Other responsibilities as assigned
