About The Position

The Accounting Coordinator supports all aspects of accounting for the financials for affordable housing properties within CCH. This is a highly collaborative role that interacts with various departments within the organization to ensure the accurate financial reporting for each property.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
  • 6-12 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CCH conducts background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer.
  • Satisfactory completion of background check is a requirement of employment with CCH.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to caring and positive working and living environments for all employees and residents
  • Analyzing workflow processes.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Ensuring bills and payroll are paid promptly and accurately while adhering to departmental procedures.
  • Processing due invoices for payments.
  • Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
  • Organize our financial information for tax purposes
  • Review and post resident receipts
  • Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
  • Continuous Professional Development: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
