About The Position

The Accounting Coordinator assists with accounts payable functions. This
position maintains accurate financial records and assists with financial
reporting while collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial
operations.

Requirements

• Strong self-starter and ability to work independently and with little supervision.
• Position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to meet deadlines given with accurate and complete information.
• Must have strong organizational skill, detail oriented and a Team player.
• Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing programs.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proficient in problem solving and have intermediate mathematical skills.
• Ensured compliance with internal controls, company policies, and payment procedures.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of Products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong 10-key data entry skills and have experience with automated payable system.
• 2-4 years accounts payable experience
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Concur Expense a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepared and executed weekly check runs and ACH payments.
• Processed high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with vendor setup.
• Maintained vendor records and responded to payment inquiries professionally.
• Assisted with month-end close, AP accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Support administration of company credit card program.
• Process and audit expense reports.
• Prepare wire transfer requests.
