About The Position
Work associated with this position is at a fast pace to safeguard the company’s assets by ensuring all records and monies are properly account for on a daily/weekly basis. Communication skills are key to the position due to the findings of the audits performed.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks, and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals daily.
- Responsible for attending on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties through regular attendance.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma, undergraduate college degree in accounting, or accounting experience, preferred.
- Experience in retail operations or Warehouse/Transportation, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for reconciliations on coinmax monies.
- Interact with banking partners, related business partners and our armored car service.
- Responsible for maintaining the subsidiary ledger accounts for various GL accounts.
- Responsible for the verification of the daily Accounts Payable Check runs.
- Investigate cash deposit discrepancies.
- Responsible for the collection of all retail deposit tickets.
- Responsible for all Corporate deposits with daily banking trips.
- Assist stores daily on their banking needs if any should be addressed.
- Responsible for protecting the assets of the company.
- Understand and follow confidentiality policy in regard to company information, as well as personal information.
- Utilize time management skills and prioritization to accomplish tasks through management team and associates.
- Verification, completion, and distribution of vital department reports, management reports, documents, and paperwork via written, verbal, or email to the appropriate individuals as deemed by supervision and/or policy.
- Complete documentation of activities, as required.
- Follow all safety and security measures and guidelines.
