About The Position

The Accounting Controller will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role involves managing finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control activities, as well as directing financial planning and budget management functions. The Controller will also manage lines of credit, assets, and accounting functions, and serve as a key resource to the senior management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 1 year of job-specific and related experience in accounting management OR Associate Degree (AS) in related field AND 3 years of job-specific and related experience in accounting management OR 5+ years of job specific and related experience in accounting
  • Demonstrated analytical capability
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Proficient computer skills, specifically in Microsoft office applications
  • Enterprise resource planning systems and financial systems experience is required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections for the Imasen North America Groups
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations
  • Control finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control activities
  • Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions
  • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments
  • Establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
  • Manage lines of credit, assets, and Accounting functions
  • Manage the preparation of the official annual report of revenues, transfers, and expenses
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
  • Motivate teams to produce quality work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
  • Participate in and facilitate group meetings
  • Plan for short and long term budgeting and forecasting, and profitability analysis
  • Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
  • Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of departments
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to the senior management team that provides overall company leadership and direction
  • Serve on planning and policy-making committees
  • Perform other duties as assigned
