Accounting Consultant
About The Position
Client is looking for temporary accounting support. The number of people hired will depend on the skill sets they are able to cover and timing of starts. This could ultimately be 2 separate temps covering different areas. One area is Account Reconciliation / Analysis, looking for someone with solid accounting and reconciliation experience who can jump in and help with account reconciliations, analysis and general accounting support. The second area is Credit Card / Merchant Account Reconciliation, which is a more specialized need. The person will be working on the receiving side of credit card activity, specifically recording and reconciling merchant accounts / credit card receipts. There are 100+ processors/accounts, so they need someone who has done this at volume.
Requirements
- Solid accounting and reconciliation experience
- Account / balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Researching discrepancies and variances
- Accounting analysis
- Strong Excel skills
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data
- Able to learn multiple systems quickly
- Direct experience recording credit card receipts
- Merchant account reconciliation experience
- High-volume credit card / merchant transaction experience
- Experience reconciling multiple processors/accounts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to research discrepancies
